Dr. Gregg BrownEducation Background

Dr. Gregg Brown is a Licensed Psychologist and counselor. In 2019 he received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on family forensic psychology at Antioch University Santa Barbara. Prior to that he earned his Masters in general psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles in 2012. In his previous career he was a film director for 20 plus years directing feature films, music videos and commercials. Dr. Brown also holds an MFA from Stanford University.

Therapeutic Approach

When working with clients Dr. Brown aims to create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment. In his therapy practices, he utilizes an integrative approach that is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Object Relations therapy, designed to meet each client’s specific needs. Dr. Brown may implement various techniques using mindfulness exercises, cognitive restructuring, and reality testing. He believes incorporating these techniques helps my clients to understand themselves better, process difficult emotions, identify aspects of their lives they would like to change, and improve emotional regulation.
